Note
  • [We hope that that everyone of our friendly theatre-goers, and supporters of true beauty in general, will not miss out on this evening at which will be presented an enjoyable play from which each and everyone may benefit only once in their lifetime. This play is exceptionally interesting for Russian Jews who have heard or who have seen the moving Russian drama "The Second Youth" that caused the greatest furor on the Russian stage and from which Jacob Ter, the benefitee, drew material and which he artistically adapted. It is especially hard to miss out when such a play is performed by such true artists as it is by the united Jewish Actors Society of the Thalia Theatre. The famous and talented artist B. Tomashefsky in the role of Joseph Lieberman, a Russian student. The character comic Vaynblat in his unsurpassed performance as Marcus Goodsoul the inventor. The only primadona since the first days of the Yiddish theatre, Sophia Karp in the role of Maria Eichler the teacher. The wonderful singer and actress, Dora Dubinski as Lina Jonson. And last but not least, the true artist and comic, B. Bernstein with the young talented actress Sabina Vaynblat who play the highly comic roles of Mikhl the Simpleton and Makhala. Tickets are already available from the benefitee and playwright Jacob Ter at his home 39-41 Suffolk St. corner Grand. Extra for Brooklyn, tailor at 17 Moore St., on the first floor. On the day of the performance at the box office of the Thalia Theatre.]
