Summary
Political caricatures from the reign of George III, arranged by date, including satires on the French Revolution. Includes representations of book burning, Britannia, a bullfight, drinking, the guillotine, John Bull, money, sleepwalking, and tarring and feathering. Individuals portrayed include the Duke of Bedford, Richard Brothers, Charles James Fox, Lord Grenville, Admiral Howe, the Marquis of Lansdowne, William Pitt, and Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Several images are antisemitic.
