Other subjects include blacks, Secession, slavery and the American eagle. Individuals portrayed include "Beast" Butler, John J. Crittenden, Jefferson Davis, Horace Greeley, "Stonewall" Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, George B. McClellan and the fictional characters John Bull and Uncle Sam.
