Pol.II.83 is a parody of Benjamin West's painting of the Death of Wolfe. Other individuals depicted include Edmund Burke, Princess Caroline, Charles François Dumouriez, Charles James Fox, the Duke of York, Admiral Howe, Lord Lansdowne, Lord Dundas, William Pitt, Joseph Priestley & Richard Brinsley Sheridan.
