24 prints : etching, aquatint, some col.; 33.7 x 34.9 cm. or smaller.
Summary
Social and personal caricatures from the reign of George III, including satires of fashion, horse racing, horsemanship, preaching, teaching and skating. Misc.III.69 depicts an exhibition of paintings by George Morland, with the artist himself finishing a painting of a pig; Misc. III.78 depicts the exterior of Christie's Auction Rooms. Individuals portrayed include Sir Busick Harwood, William Lort Mansel, William Smyth, the Duke of Sutherland, and the Duke of Queensberry.
