Ottilie Caroline Anna von Pichler Clairmont, wife of Claire Clairmont's nephew Wilhelm Charles Gaulis Clairmont. She and her husband were affectionately known to friends and family as "Willy and Tilly." Ottilie was related to (perhaps a sister of) Viennese writer and salon hostess Caroline von Pichler (cf. Stocking, Clairmont correspondence: 641n). |
