  • Disc 1 (ca. 47 min.), 03/22/06. Helen Gallagher speaks about her first experiences studying dance and performing; the numerous shows she was soon cast in and the people she met who would be helpful later in her career including Jerome Robbins; the challenges of working with Agnes De Mille; working on Billion dollar baby, High button shoes, and Brigadoon; more on her relationship with De Mille (also in comparison to Robbins); more on High button shoes; earlier shows she was in including Seven lively arts; working with Jack Cole; working on Touch and go with Helen Tamiris.
  • Disc 2 (ca. 44 min.), 03/22/06. Helen Gallagher speaks about the creative process of various choreographers including Robbins; working with Bob [Robert] Alton, Jules Styne, and George Abbott; the working habits of dancers during this period; the show Portofino and the reasons it did not succeed.
  • Disc 3 (ca. 47 min.), 04/03/06. Helen Gallagher speaks about studying with Viola Cruse and others; training in both movement and voice; her admiration for Virginia Bosler; the difficult period in Gallagher's career after the failure of Portofino; auditioning for Sweet Charity; playing the part of Nikkie as well as understudying Gwen Verdon's part as Charity and her experience stepping in for this part; Verdon's talent; Gallagher's working relationship with Bob Fosse (also in comparision to Robbins). Gallagher compares choreographers' work expectations, including those of Gower Champion; speaks more on Fosse; speaks briefly on Thelma Oliver.

Helen Gallagher speaks about performing in Mame; her experience in Cry for us all and working with Albert Marre; No, no Nanette; her move from large to small scale shows on Broadway; The Gershwin years; performing in clubs; landing a role in the television soap opera Ryan's hope; her experience on the show and continuing her theatre career throughout the sixteen years she was a part of it; her teaching; various choreographers' and directors' working styles, particularly Robbins'; recent work and the current creative environment in New York and California.
