  • Costume design in an Egyptian style for the second version of Fokin's ballet Cléopâtre.
  • Standing female figure, holding crown of head in profile right, looking downward. Costume consists of a topless sheath with magenta and black decorations, and a large scarf, stretching from head to toe, covered in magenta and gold geometric patterns.
Biography (note)
  • Fokine's Cléopâtre was introduced in 1908 and 1909 in St. Petersburg and Paris with scenery by Orest Allegri and costumes by Mikhail Zandin. As far as can be discovered, the later version, with costumes and decor by Anisfeld, was staged in Stockholm and Berlin.
