  • · To John Johnson of East Dereham, Norfolk, cousin of William Cowper, the poet : 1 autograph letter signed, "your ever sincere & affectionate Hermit" : 15 Jul 1816 : (MISC 4288) : 1 page (single sheet) : [no place] : begins, "In my immediate reply to you yesterday , by the returning post, I had not time to speak of our interesting Margaret Perowne..."; including a ten-line verse epitaph for Margaret Perowne, Johnson's housekeeper.
