- Disc 1 (ca. 57 min.). Jim May speaks with Harriet Lynn about first meeting Anna Sokolow and the influence she had on him; his family background and its impact on his current life; his opportunity to work in Taipei and the impact of his work in Taiwan; his company Dance Forum Taipei; discovering Doris Humphrey's work and her and Charles Weidman's impact on José Limón; his training with Jan Veen; perception of his own role in the dance world; the continued relevance of the work of both Limón and Sokolow as well as some comparisons between the two; May's involvement in dance and dance education in Mexico and Chile.
