  • The Market Place Gallery and Book Shop exhibited the artwork of black artists and also served as a salon with poetry readings. It was located at 2305 Seventh Avenue in Harlem, New York, and was owned and operated by Adele Glasgow, Marguerite Moorman and Ramona Lowe. The gallery opened in 1959 and functioned for about ten years.
