- Rev. Matthew Cantine Julien (1849-1914) researched the descendants of Moses Cantine, a Huguenot refugee who settled in the Hudson Valley of New York. His correspondence contains letters from members of the Cantine family and acknowledgments received for the donation of his "Preliminary Statement of the Cantine Genealogy" to libraries and historical societies.
