- Frank Ward was a founding member of the Douglaston Committee for a Democratic Society, a radical anti-war group which aimed to radicalize the predominantly white, middle class suburbs of Queens county, New York. The collection consists of notes, minutes, and printed matter relating to the activities of the Douglaston Committee for a Democratic Society (DCDS) in 1968.
