Summary
The account books are in three volumes. Volume 1 (1851-1854) records real estate evaluations and tax assessments; office expenses; costs of carpentry and masonry; Croton water rent payments, and real estate insurance costs. Volume 2 (1847-1851) records Charles F. Osborn's transactions with clients and their tenants indicating rent payment, property, and repairs. Volume 3 (1842-1851) records rents collected by George L. Osborn from his clients' tenants; real estate tax and insurance payments; cost of painting, papering, glazing, and other repairs. Clients include Commodore Uriah P. Levy and General Morgan Lewis. Records include memoranda of notes endorsed.
