Cochran after G. Hayter. -- Bound together with three printed works relating to Norton: a single sheet (2 p.) extract from The Court Magazine and Belle Assemblee for January, 1834, providing a "Genealogical memoir of the Hon. Mrs. Norton" (between p. iv and p. [1]); a single sheet (1 p. [handbill]) "Extract from the 'Times' of June 25th, 1836," with a letter to the editor commenting on the trial of Norton v. Lord Melbourne, signed "Currie and Woodgate"; and Norton's Letter to the Queen on Lord Chancellor Cranworth's marriage and divorce bill (London: Longman [et al.] 1855). -- Bound in contemporary half calf with marbled boards, with red morocco spine label and gilt spine-titling.
