- A. A. Desser was a labor organizer for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. This small collection of his papers includes a diary about his activities as an organizer in Springfield, Massachusetts and other Massachusetts towns and in Herkimer, New York during the years 1936-1937. The papers also include miscellaneous notes and transcripts of court testimony.
