- Summary
- This collection is comprised of the contents of a Confederate Army mail bag containing reports, requisitions, vouchers, etc. relating to the Ordnance Department at Dublin, Virginia, and miscellaneous letters addressed to Newberry, South Carolina, with material dated 1863 to 1864. Also included is a volume titled Opinions of the Attorney General, dated April 1861 to March 1865. These opinions were delivered by Hon. Judah P. Benjamin, Hon. Wade Keyes, Jr., Hon. Thomas Bragg, Hon. Thomas H. Watts, and Hon. George Davis. The volume was obtained from Mr. F.
