- Summary
- Depiction of a scene in an elaborately decorated ballroom, where a woman in a plumed headdress watches as a man in tight pink garments strikes the ballet pose called an arabesque. Behind them is a second woman, whose round face and body give her the appearance of an oversized child. At right, two male musicians play on an elevated stand.
