  • Vladimir Kirin, 1894-1963, was born and died in Zagreb, part of Croatia. He studied art in Vienna and London, and worked as a graphic artist and book illustrator. Among his publications were portfolios of prints of architecture and historical monuments. His collected illustrations of the national costumes of his country, Narodne nošnje Jugoslavije, were published in fourteen editions between 1953 and 1986.
