- Portrayal of Louise Fairbrother, an English actress and dancer. Dressed in a yellow costume and blue shoes, she is depicted in an outdoor setting, balanced on her left leg with her right leg slightly raised behind her, and swirling a scarf.

- Sarah Louise (or Louisa) Fairbrother, 1816-1890, made her stage debut in London in 1827, and performed at Covent Garden and Drury Lane in the 1830s. She frequently performed male roles, though she also played Columbine in the Christmas pantomime Harlequin and the merrie devil of Edmonton in 1839. Unfettered by convention, she bore children to different fathers, and became the morganatic wife of the second Duke of Cambridge.
