  • La fille du Danube (choreography, Filippo Taglioni; music, Adolphe Adam) was first performed at the Paris Opéra in 1836. The Bibliothèque Nationale de France holds an original costume design for a page, attributed to costumier Hippolyte de Boug d'Orschwillier, but its only resemblance to this print is the page's plumed hat.
