Details
- Description
- 1 print : lithograph?, b&w; 25 x 31 cm.
- Summary
- Possibly a book illustration. Outline drawing of a rather rowdy group of men and women, dressed in eighteenth-century attire, engaged in dancing and other activities. Seated on a chair somehow elevated above the crowd, a fiddler provides musical accompaniment. It is difficult to discern whether the setting (possibly a tavern or inn) is an interior or exterior; roof beams and a stairway co-exist with the protruding branches of trees.
