Biography (note)

• Richard Flexmore, also known as Dicky Flexmore, was a popular British clown and pantomime artist. His skill as a dancer allowed him to parody some of the leading ballet dancers of the day, among them Jules Perrot, Carlotta Grisi, and Fanny Cerrito. His compatriot William Frederick Wallet or Wallett died in 1892 after a career as comic performer, equestrian, and the last court jester to Queen Victoria.
