- Illustrations of scenes from plays or operas first presented in Paris in 1849 or 1850. Each image measures approximately 7.5 x 7 cm. The sheet originally contained six images; one has been removed.

- Biography (note)
- Catilina and La Jeunesse des Mousquetaires were dramas by Alexandre Dumas and Auguste Maquet, first presented at the Théâtre Historique, Paris, respectively in 1848 and 1849. Catilina was set during the Roman Republic; its eponymous hero, a champion of the people, opposed the orator Cicero.
- The image captioned Les Sept Péchés Capitaux probably depicts a scene from the drama by August Anicet-Bourgeois and Adolphe d'Ennery, first presented at the Théâtre de l'Ambigu-Comique, Paris, in 1850.
- Le Caïd was an opera by Ambroise Thomas, first presented at the Opéra-Comique, Paris, in 1849. It was set in Algeria.
- Le Prophète was an opera by Giacomo Meyerbeer, first presented at the Paris Opéra in 1849. Act III included skating performers, as seen in this image. The composer Constant Lambert later incorporated musical excerpts from this opera into the score of Frederick Ashton's ballet Les patineurs, or The skaters (1937).
