- Summary
- A good troupe of Boedra dancers - each year a different local group performs - but in general we've decided not to shoot the Boedra. The film associated with this record shows a sequence of different dances one after the other, rather than splitting them up into individual records. This is generally how the Boedra group operates, to fill gaps in the performance schedule or, as here, to begin the days proceedings and as an introduction, leading up to the more sacred dances to follow.

- Nyimalung Trenda is held for three days on the 8th to the 10th day of the 5th Bhutanese month. The final blessing day coincides with the anniversary of the Birth of Guru Rinpoche. A Chamjug or rehearsal day is held on the 7th day of the Lunar month.
