· To "My dear Miss Bibby" : 1 autograph letter signed : 9 Sep [ca. 1860's-1880's?] : (MISC 4023.45a) : 4 pages (double sheet) : from No. 4 Promenade, Great Malvern : begins, "I find on trying to transfer to Malvern your subscription, as I wanted to return Froude & Buckle, which, thanks to you, we have been enjoying, that Mr. Smith, or rather his clerk, has allowed me to keep the volumes over the time of your subscription without the notice they should have given me ..." Mounted in the Mary Ann Humble autograph album. Shelved with oversized manuscript volumes.
· To "My dear Miss Galty" : 1 autograph letter signed : [ca. 1860's-1880's?] : (MISC 4098) : 3 ¹/₈ pages (double sheet) : [no place] : begins, "I think I ought to correct what I said as to lodgings, for now I believe there are a good many at liberty ..."; with mourning border.
