- Summary
- The Westchester Playhouse in Mount Kisco, New York (1932-1940) was one of the first prominent summer stock theaters in the United States. One of the founders was Frank Day Tuttle.
- The collection contains black and white film cellulose acetate negatives of shows produced by the Westchester Playhouse. Original photographs were taken by Kenneth Bloomer. The negatives in the collection were used for an un-published book, written by Tuttle circa 1974, about summer stock theater in the early 20th Century. Each group of negatives is housed in envelopes that have production title, date of performance, list of performers and other production notes.
