- Musician Chhem Sok speaks about his family background in music; his studies in drumming; the importance of drummers knowing dance gestures in order to play for dance performances. He discusses the loss of knowledge in the younger generation; speaks about making drums; and describes performing in the orchestra in the Royal Palace. He speaks about his experiences during the Khmer Rouge era and how he came back to music after this period; he articulates his views on the future of music and dance. From 36 min. to the end of the recording, Chhem Sok demonstrates drumming.
