Recipients include James Swan, Nathaniel Terry, William Sullivan, Jacques Donatien and James Le Ray de Chaumont, Gales and Seaton, and many unnamed friends and associates. Letters mainly discuss political and business matters, and issues relating to Massachusetts government.
