- David Berger interviews Hermann Prey, German lyric baritone (Germany Today, program no. 774), who discusses various aspects of his singing career. He talks about the roles he sang at various opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera in New York (between 1960 and 1970) and Munich Opera House, such as his favorite role of Papageno in The magic flute (German: Die Zauberflöte) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; his performances in television operas, and recitals. Includes audio recording of Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe (A poet's love) (composed 1840) sung by Prey.
