- Parts 3-4, and part 1 (00-5:49 minutes). Lewis Archibald, a journalist who wrote for the magazine "Downtown," interviews English actor Tom Courtenay. Courtenay talks about his childhood, his family background, acting career since the mid-1960's, and the roles he played in various productions in Europe and the United States, such as Norman in the film adaptation of The dresser (1983), based on a screenplay by Harwood, directed by Peter Yates and produced by Yates with Ronald Harwood, that was recently released (and for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor). He also discusses his personal and professional relationships with various film directors and colleagues-actors, and explains the difference between acting styles he uses for various scenes in the films and on stage.
