Summary
Mikhail Baryshnikov in a benefit performance for Dancers Responding to AIDS at St. Mark's Church / Danspace. This is Baryshnikov's solo from the start of Neil Greenberg's "MacGuffin", normally an ensemble piece for White Oak Dance Project. Eos Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Sheffer, accompanies him during the performance. Sheffer and Baryshnikov address the audience afterward; Baryshnikov jokes about the proximity of the audience. Most of the text titles of the piece are out of frame. Title misspelled on videocasette label.
