Summary
Fred Voelpel was a scenic, costume, and lighting designer for Broadway productions from the 1960s to 1981. The Phillip Haultcoeur collection of Fred Voelpel designs contains Voelpel's schematic drawings for Ford Motor Company's 1979 Lincoln and Mercury product introduction show, as well as three catalogs for theatrical equipment and supplies. Designs show seating arrangements and the stage layout from a bird's eye perspective for the Milwaukee Exposition Convention Center and Arena, the St. Louis Convention Center, and the Washington, D.C. Capital Centre Arena.
