Paula Silberstein was a founding member of Saturday Theatre for Children, a program that was established in 1960 to encourage the development of theater productions for children. The Paula Silberstein papers (1931-1986) contain a large amount of personal correspondence, a small amount of which touches on topics related to children's theater and the Bureau of Audio-Visual Instruction. Other subjects of the correspondence including visiting Israel and Silberstein's theater work with the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue. The collection contains a small number of records from Saturday Theatre for Children, dating from 1985 to 1986. These include budget information, fundraising information, executive board meeting minutes, and announcements about programs.
