This recording is a rundown (rehearsal) of piano pieces excerpts being used for cues for scenes in both Act 1 and 2 of the Broadway play "The West Side waltz", and as a practice tape for Katharine Hepburn. Not all of the music featured in the play is on this recording. Ms. Hepburn piano teacher/consulant Laura Fratti is performing the pieces as Ms. Hepburn and an unidentified audio enginner (?) provides additional commentary.
