- Summary
- Athol Fugard is a South African playwright. The Nancy T. Kearns collection of Athol Fugard materials dates from 1983 to 1996. Some of the items in the collection are copies of material that was originally created in the 1970s. The collection contains programs, production photographs, clippings about Fugard and his plays, and lectures that Kearns wrote on Fugard's The Road to Mecca. Many of the programs and clippings are for productions at 7 Stages theater in Atlanta, Georgia. The collection also contains three short letters from Fugard to Kearns regarding his travels in 1983 and 1984. Materials are in English, with the exception of a 1986 German program for Statements After an Arrest Under the Immorality Act.
