Summary
Wilson Lehr (d. 1982) was Director of Theater in Brooklyn College's Department of Speech and Theater. His prompt books are for Brooklyn College productions that he directed between 1959 and 1975. Each prompt book contains a script or score with blocking notes, technical cues, dialogue changes, and other annotations. Some of the prompt books contain additional material such as programs and fliers. The collection contains prompt books for The Apothecary (1965), Celebration (1975), The Critic (1960), Cymbeline (1960), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (1968), Der Jasager (1965), Kiss Me, Kate (1964), Love for Love (1964), The Male Animal (1961), Pantagleize (1973), Rhinoceros (1963), Romeo and Juliet (1959), original musical Rubber Nickels (1972), A Streetcar Named Desire (1966), and three Harold Pinter plays: The Collection, A Slight Ache, and A Night Out (1967).
