Summary

Company archivist David Vaughan describes this series, organized by Robert Swinston, as a "living archival presentation" of Merce Cunningham's choreography. This program focuses on Cunningham's work from the 1970s and includes a video clip of Signals, as well as excerpts from Signals and Locale performed live by MCDC dancers. Each clip or performance is followed by a panel discussion about the piece. Panelists include Valda Setterfield, Ellen Cornfield and Merce Cunningham; David Vaughan moderates.
