- Summary
- Shortly after the attempted coup in the USSR, conductor Cesare Civetta began a 5 month concert marathon of the disintegrated country leading local orchestras in performances of classical music. On December 21, 1991, he gave the 1st performance of the Stars and Stripes forever at the Communist Party Headquarters where the statue of Lenin was turned to face the wall. The documentary presents a succession of clips from rehearsals and concerts.
