Summary
Robert C. Rothafel was the managing director of the movie palace the Roxy Theatre from 1955 until 1958, when he became president of the theater's newly-established operating company, Roxy Enterprises. The Robert C. Rothafel Roxy Theatre records date from 1955 to 1960 and contain financial and other administrative records. The collection includes financial analyses of operations and attendance, records of merchandise sold, scenery and costume inventories, and internal memoranda, among other records. Most of the materials concern the years 1956 to 1959. The collection was previously cataloged with the call number MFL + n.c. 1834.
