- Summary
- The Marion Paone collection of Russian theater and ballet photographs contains promotional images of actors, dancers, playwrights, and directors, dating from about the 1900s to the 1950s. Most of the images are printed on postcards, and are labeled with the actor's name or the production title in Russian. Many of the photographs are from the Moscow Art Theatre, including production photographs from plays such as The Living Corpse, The Power of Darkness, and Uncle Vanya. Actors depicted include Vasily Kachalov. Ballet photographs include images of Galina Ulanova and Swan Lake.
