Hosted by John Arthur Rubinstein, a film and television actor and director, composer of film and theatre music, and son of the 20th century's most acclaimed pianist Arthur Rubinstein, this program is dedicated to Leonard Bernstein, an American composer, conductor, and music lecturer in order to commemorate the one year anniversary of his death. Commentaries on Bernstein by the host include excerpts of autobiographical narrations by Bernstein. Music works recorded live at 1984 Carnegie Hall concerts.
