- Prince-Joseph, an organist and Hunter College faculty member, presents a seminar on 19th century symphonies and some of their noted composers such as Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms Liszt, and Mahler, and on symphonic poems and two composers (Berlioz and Liszt) who could be credited for their conception. Included is an examination and recording of Smetana's tone poem Moldau followed by questions from the audience.
