  • Part 1. Special Christmas edition of the radio program including two short radio plays ("The story of Scrooge", based on "A Christmas carol" by Dickens, and the story of the hymn "Silent night"), the story of "The night before Christmas" the poem by Clement Moore, and various songs of the season.
  • Part 2. Radio program reviews various cultural events in New York City that were held before the Christmas holidays of 1977, and announcements of upcoming events, such as releases of new albums and concert tours of popular musicians. Includes interview with Michael Korda, who talks about his book "Success!"; interview with Rick Danko, Canadian musician, bassist, songwriter and singer, best known as a member of the Band, who talks about his experience working with Bob Dylan; interview with Anne Scott Beller, who talks about her book "Fat and thin : a natural history of obesity," and discusses the factors that influence body weight, moving from primitive man and his genetic legacy through recent ethnological, ecological, physiological, psychological, and cultural findings; radio announcements, and commercials.
