Summary
The Northeasterners, Inc. was founded as a social organization for African-American women in 1930 by Agatha Scott Davis (d. 2002), the wife of Brigadier-General Benjamin O. Davis Jr. This organization brings together women of similar social and educational backgrounds to work on educational and other societal concerns. The collection holds certificates, clippings, correspondence, ephemera, minutes, photographs, printed matter, scrapbooks, artifacts, and audio visual material.
