- Summary
- Translation into English of the section titled "Danais" in the 1824 edition of Welcker's Aeschylische Trilogie Prometheus (page 390f). In an unidentified hand; watermark dated 1850. Here titled "The Daniad," the text begins: "This dramatic poem is likewise founded on an epical production (the author of which is unknown) from which it has probably borrowed its name." Found among the papers of the English satrical novelist Thomas Love Peacock.
