- Copybook used by Thomas Jefferson Hogg for drafts of his academic assignments and as a commonplace book while he was a student at University College, Oxford, in 1810, probably during the Michaelmas term. A holograph poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley, "Oh wretched mortal" (PBS 0215), is on leaf 5, recto. Bound in original half red roan with marbled boards.
