  • Decoration: 5 historiated initials, accompanied by floreate borders with animal figures. Small and medium illuminated initials in blue and red; blue and red linefillers.
  • Script: Calligraphic gothic.
  • Music: Square notation on 4-line red staves.
  • In calendar: latest-canonized saint, Antoninus of Florence (1523); feast of the Separation of the Apostles (dropped, 1551); on 13 Sept., "Dedicatio ecclesie de tortoy lamberti." Script and border decoration of archaizing style; miniatures up to date.
  • On ff. 201-239: Ordo ad communicandum infirmam (fem. form), Office of the Dead (Dominican use), Burial service, as well as calendar to suggest use by a Dominican nun; see esp. ff. 206-10, "Letania pro sorore moriente."
