  • Contains only the masses for main feasts of the liturgical year; part of a set that includes four other mss necessary for celebrating these masses (two lectionaries, a chant book, and a "manuale").
  • Layout: Written in 15 lines per page in two columns, ruled in brown ink.
  • Decoration: Many miniatures and historiated initials. Crucifixion miniature missing on a leaf that would have been betw. ff. 59-60. Blue, green and pink initials on gold fields with painted/gold border decoration. Gold initials on red, blue and green fields. Red and blue initials with opposing-color penwork. Rubrics and placemarkers. Full border designs.
  • Music: Square notation on 4-line red staves.
  • Script: Gothic liturgical script.
  • Artist: Giovanni Battista Cavaletto.
