Note
  • Layout: Written in 30-2 lines per page in two columns. Columns ruled in brown ink. Prickmarks visible.
  • Decoration: Print of St Brigit by Crispijn de Passe pasted on inside front cover. Initials in red, blue and green. Rubrics and red slashes as placemarkers.
  • Scribe: Ulrich, (possible 2 or 3 scribes more).
  • Script: Hybrida.
  • Paper: Briquet 14643; found in German documents ca. 1410.
  • Pencil and ink foliations are incorrect; pencil foliation jumps from f. 136 to f. 164, etc.
  • Watermark, plus use of the older date of St. Brigit of Sweden's commemoration (was changed from July 23rd to October 8th at Council of Constance, 1415) indicate that this ms. is ca. 1410-1415. Scribal colophon mentions Lindau. Foliation problematic.
  • Text appears to be missing first 12 folios since it begins on f. xiii.
  • Engraving of Saint Bridget of Sweden by Crispijn van de Passe (I), 1602.
